Zouk - Pre Exams

I'm gonna make this a short entry cuz I'm gonna hit the sack soon.

Cabbed with Winston (Thank you for leaving early with me, I apologise if I 'stole' you away from everyone else who were still there), just got home from Zouk - sober, clean (cuz I just showered), but a little drained; and with mixed feelings.

I'm pissed off with Aubrey Tham and he knows why.
And witnessing certain stuff totally made me lose even more faith in another aspect in life.

On a lighter note, I just realised Vinod loves medicated oil too! :D
And it's funny seeing JC boys trying to hit on Uni girls. xD

Communicating With People Who Speak English With An Accents Different From What I'm Usually Exposed To

I'm at NP's library now, working on my EG essay.

In the midst of watching this video, I realised that I've zonked out a couple of times. I don't know if it's because he sounds monotonous or whatever the reason is, but generally, sometimes when I talk to angmohs... Wait. No. Not just angmohs, even my Nigerian project mate... Hur. Well, basically, people who speak English pretty damb differently from the way I do, I tend to lose focus in the midst of the conversation.

It feels a little bit like I've got dyslexia or something. Like you know? I understand what they've got to say. In some cases, I only catch certain words. I know... Like some of you will go, "Huh? But your ex-boyfriend's Australian! Then how do you guys communicate?"
We talk as per normal, but there are a few times I'd just zonk out and nod and stuff. HAHA! Oops! :X
So yeah... When I talk to people with accents I'm not often exposed to, I'll just go all zonked out so my replies will either be delayed by a couple of seconds, or I'll just go, "HUH?"
So please understand, I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I understand you, I really do. Just give me a few more seconds! Or maybe repeat yourself if it's necessary.

Hair Works

Does anyone still remember the Lisa with long hair and her natural waves?





I wish I have more pictures, but the hard disk that had all the pictures of me with long hair died on me.

I went to China. I had my hair permed cuz I wanted more defined curls but it didn't really work. My hair condition got really bad cuz I dyed it too.
Stupid people didn't tell me I wasn't suppose to perm and dye together. Grr.
So I came back to Singapore, and like, cut it really short cuz my hair was dead. Like dead dry and life-less and shit.
And ever since then... it never got past my current hair length cuz I either keep cutting it, or it's just growing too slow.

A couple of days ago, I crimped my hair (check out the pictures I've posted in the previous post).
I SERIOUSLY love it cuz it's so full of volume! I'm even considering doing it permanently/going afro.
Sure. My hair's gonna feel dead all over again... But...
:D Makes me feel like I've got damn a lot of hair all over again!
LOL.

But the whole crimped effect disappeared after I have my hair washed. Damb sad. :(
And the whole crimping process is too troublesome cuz I can't see the hair at the back of my head, and I can only crimp so much hair each time.
And you know how I've already got so much hair?
So yeah. Lotsa hair to crimp. Very time consuming.

So it's back to my good ol' normal boring straight hair.
Just wondering though...
I used to have naturally wavy hair... And after I had it re-bonded last year, it seldom gets wavy. It still does, but seldom.

So I was talking to Moy earlier, and I told her I had to do something outrageous cuz I'm so depressed.

Some slit their wrists, but nahh.. xD I'm too chicken to do that.

I wanted to pierce my tongue, but it'd take me such a long time cuz it's a DIY sorta thing. Plus, I've lost all my tongue studs. So meh.

Moy suggested I dye my hair... I might actually consider doing that. ;)

I felt like cutting my hair. Usually, I'd just do my bangs, but nah. Firstly, it's just right for a short fringe, and yeah. I'm thinking of getting back long(er) fringe. And I may consider chopping my hair short cuz there is no longer a reason why I should keep it long. Oh. How about going afro? :D

Bad hair day?Well, no. Not really. I just had my hair crimped cuz I thought that's prolly the mildest form of outrageous thing I can do. It's not quite a great job done, cuz I can't see the back of my hair, but I love the volume. :P
